All Updates
New + Improved

Energy Digital Commerce now allows for seamless integration with your company’s ERP system via API integration. As a seller you can now gain access to a set of APIs to support bi-directional integration with your ERP system in order to automate the setup of contracts and allocations.

1. Get Orders API

You can now retrieve a list of your orders using the Get Orders API, which can be filtered by time and status if required. This API can be called as and when it is needed, and could be used update the record of orders on a schedule or as needed before processing. An example of this API response can be seen below.

2. Update Orders API

You can now make updates to existing orders using the Update Order API. The changes made by this API are identical to the changes that can be made using the Digital Commerce platform. i.e confirming/cancelling an order, updating prices, lifting end date, quantity or the buyer user.

3. Orders Webhook

You can now utilize the Orders Webhook to gain real time updates on the status of an order as events occur. You can subscribe to receive API
calls which provide the details of the orders. The subscription events available on the Notification Settings page are as follows:

  • order created
  • order confirmed
  • order cancelled
  • order edited
  • order cancelled (confirmed orders only)
  • order edited (confirmed orders only)

4. PlantID added to order output

As a seller you will now be able to see the plant ID under each terminal on the order output. The plant ID can be seen in the example order
output below.

Note: The plantId field is only displayed on the order output if it is included in the terminal data in TABS

5. Manage FTP Event  Subscriptions

As a seller you can now manage FTP event subscriptions in the Digital Commerce App.

How it works

  1. Navigate to the notifications page on the Digital Commerce App
  2. Toggle the FTP notification status on/off for the following 4 subscription events: Order Received, Order Confirmed, Order Edited, Order
    Cancelled
  3. There is an option to select ‘only confirmed orders’ for Orders Edited and Orders Cancelled events

Note: The FTP event subscriptions settings for sellers currently using the FTP feature will remain the same. For sellers who enable the FTP
feature for the first time, all the event subscriptions will be turned off by default and will need to be updated in the Digital Commerce App.

6. Timestamp for FTP

As a seller you will now be able to see a timestamp on the order output for every FTP file detailing when the event was triggered. The timestamp is shown as eventTime as shown below.

7. Manage Customer Price Rules

As a seller you can now manage customer specific price adjustments on the Digital Commerce App.

How it works

  1. As a seller you can setup customer price adjustments easily from the Customer Pricing page. Offer pricing > Customer Pricing
  2. Price adjustments can be applied at the terminal, product, customer level
  3. These are automatically added to the price that your customer receives and will be captured as a separate adjustment on orders executed
    through Digital Commerce
  4. Your customer will only see the final price inclusive of specific adjustments applied to that offer.
