All Updates
New + Improved
1. Authorize customers down to the product level / activate terminal group offers
As a Seller you can now authorize customers down to the product level, and activate terminal group offers for each customer.
How it works
When you setup a customer through Digital Commerce, you are required to configure offer restrictions so that the customer is able to view the
offers that they are setup to trade from. For each customer you can perform the following actions:
- Activate all terminals, product groups, products
- Activate individual terminals, product groups, products
- Product groups are assigned to terminals, and products are assigned to product groups within a terminal
- Activate terminal group offers for the customer. This will allow the customer to create an order that contains multiple terminals (as
defined by your offer settings)
2. Updates to Order Capture Process
As a Seller, you can now adjust the prices for individual products directly from the Order Capture screen, as well as the lifting period (contract
start & end date), when placing an order on behalf of a customer.
How it works
- Once you have selected a customer and applicable terminals, products on the Order Capture screen, the available offers based on your
configuration settings will be displayed- N.B. you can now view offers from different terminals on the same screen
- Click on the Start Order button for the relevant offer to create a basket
- Within the basket you can make the following (optional) adjustments:
- Enter an adjustment to the price for each product
- Adjust the overall price for each product by simply entering the price
- Adjust the lifting (contract) end date: Making this change overwrites the quantity-based settings for this specific order. All other offers will be unaffected
- You are required to select a trader within the customer account and enter a quantity to be able to proceed and place the order
- Selecting a trader ensures that this information is captured on the order for future reference
3. View seller trading hours as a buyer
As a buyer you can now review each seller’s trading hours so that you can make more informed purchasing decisions.
How it works
- Once you have selected a seller on the All Prices page, click on the View Trading Hours link
- This will open a pop-up window, displaying the seller’s trading hours for each trading day (currently Monday-Friday)
- On certain days, the seller may have setup multiple trading windows
4. View consignee number on history export
You can now view consignee numbers attached to confirmed orders when you export these orders to .xlsx or.csv
5. Access DTN Terms of Service and Privacy Statement from login screen
You can now access DTN Terms of Service and Privacy Statement from the login screen. Clicking on the links will open these in a new webpage.
