Summary
Two new features added to Energy Digital Commerce, alongside some small bug fixes and usability enhancements.
New and Improved
1. Filter Consignee Numbers by Customer Sold To numbers
As a Seller, select from a filtered list of consignee/consignee groups when you confirm an order to reduce the risk that you setup an allocation incorrectly within TABS.
How it works
As part of customer setup, you can add the customers Sold To numbers from a drop-down list
Consignee numbers will then be filtered down based on the Sold To numbers
Once these are added to your customer account, you will only be able to select from the filtered list of consignee/consignee groups that are
applicable for that customer when you confirm an order and submit this to TABS
If you have added a Sold To number to one of your customer accounts, your customer will be able to select from the filtered list of consignees/consignee groups when they place the order
Select a Sold To Number for each customer
- Go to the Manage Customers page
- Click on the Edit icon for a customer
- Navigate to the Sold To Numbers tab
- Under the Select a Sold To Number drop-down, select a sold to number to be assigned against this customer.
- Note: You can type ahead in this field to search for specific sold to numbers
- Once you’ve selected a Sold To Number you can filter by terminal or terminal group to view the Consignees and Consignee Groups that
are associated to the Sold To Number. These are the numbers you will see when confirming the order for the customer - Click Save to save changes against the customer account
2. Setup Terminal Group Deals
You can setup terminal group offers that enable your customers to lift product from a single volume allocation across different terminals
How it works
When you setup an offer through Digital Commerce:
- You activate the terminals and products that you want to send prices from
- If the terminal is part of a terminal group, you can activate the group so that your customers can see prices from the different terminals in
the same offer - The customer will have two purchasing options:
- Order volume for a product group (e.g., ULSD) from a single terminal
- Order volume for a product group (e.g., ULSD) from multiple terminals (within your terminal group)
- If you have not added a price or deactivated one of the terminals in your group, the customer will not see this in the offer
